Kontiotuote Oy is the second log building manufacturer in the world to be awarded a CE quality certificate. The quality certificate proves that the log buildings manufactured by Kontiotuote meet the requirements set forth in ETA decision ETA-05/0119. The decision sets requirements for the strength, stability, fire safety, safe operation, noise abatement, energy consumption, materials used, structures and planning of the building.
The CE quality certificate was granted to Kontiotuote Oy on the basis of analysis and research conducted by an external quality institute. In the future the external quality institute will conduct regular control visits to the Kontio factory in order to monitor the operations, ranging from the planning of the building to its delivery.
The certificate is approved in all the countries of the EU area. It ensures that the customers of Kontiotuote will always receive high-quality products, which meet the construction and quality regulations for the EU area.
